Gharana 2.0

Kartik Raman’s “Gharana 2.0” purely focuses on taking the idea of Gharana from the Hindustani Classical music forward for the next generation.

A Gharana is a system of social organization in the Indian subcontinent, linking musicians or dancers by lineage or apprenticeship, and by adherence to a particular musical style. A Gharana also indicates a comprehensive musicological ideology. This ideology sometimes changes substantially from one Gharana to another.

Gharana 2.0 aims to bring Indian Classical Music to Gen Z in a Modern and Cool Avatar.
